Course Description
Assessment allows educators to understand how students learn and the quality of their learning. Feedback enables learners to take action on improving their performance. Both assessment and feedback are valuable tools that enable educators to improve student learning. This course will provide faculty with a broader understanding of assessment techniques and feedback principles to enhance student learning in a variety of settings. This course is meant for clinical faculty in a teaching role.

- Define formative and summative assessment
- Identify key principles in choosing assessment strategies
