Course Description

Simulating the dynamics of collaborative health care work, small group learning strategies are increasingly used across medical education contexts. This workshop will provide participants the opportunity to work through cases that demonstrate the theory, rationale, and structures essential for effectively supporting small group learning. Participants should come prepared with an outline of a course or session they would like to review for potential inclusion of small group learning strategies. The small group facilitator roles specific to the UME new curriculum will also be reviewed.

This workshop is meant for faculty across the medical education continuum.
