Course Description
Key Feature Questions (KFQs) are valuable tools for assessing student’s application of medical knowledge, problem solving abilities and clinical skills. As well, they identify critical decision points needed to manage patient care successfully. This workshop will provide the essential structure for KFQs, and a collegial, dedicated time to develop KFQs.
This workshop is intended for faculty who are contributing to the UME curriculum.What You Will Learn
Upon completion of this workshop participants will have
- Differentiated KFQs from other assessment question types
- Acquired the tools for KFQ development
- Created one KFQ in collaboration with peers to use in the new curriculum
